Así será nuestra ‘vuelta’ a Francia

Ya estamos en ruta. Hace muchos años que quería volver a darme una ‘vuelta’ por Francia, esta vez con más calma que cuando disfrutaba informando y siguiendo al pelotón internacional, y en especial a los ciclistas españoles que ganaban el Tour. En aquellos días veía pasar los paisajes y no pude disfrutarlos.

Ahora saborearé cada metro y cada imagen que me ofrezcan los caminos que Toni Martínez Daimiel (@Una_de_50) y yo recorreremos por Francia, principalmente. Serán más de 4.000 kilómetros en 11 etapas desde Madrid en un coche con garantías: el Q-30 de INFINITI.

La primera, hoy, concluirá en San Juan de Luz. Pero antes, por supuesto, haremos una parada en ‘La Bella Easo’, San Sebastián. La segunda etapa nos llevará a las Landas francesas, con visita a Arcachon y la Duna de Pilat y final en Burdeos. Seguiremos subiendo por la costa atlántica disfrutando de La Rochelle y las playas de Les Sables d’Olonne. Para descansar hemos elegido Saint-Nazaire.

Cruzaremos el gigantesco e impresionante puente sobre el río Loira hacia la Bretaña. Estamos deseando llegar a Saint-Malo y ver la abadía dentro del mar de Le Mont Saint-Michel. Desde la Bretaña buscaremos Normandía y las playas del desembarco caminando por las arenas de Omaha Beach.

Ir a Francia y no detenernos en Paris sería un gran error. Así que nos quedaremos en la capital y visitaremos Versalles antes de acercarnos al Valle del Loira y la ruta de los castillos. Desde Tours buscaremos la Costa Azul antes de rendir nuestros respetos al poeta Antonio Machado ante su tumba en Colliure.

La última etapa, ya en España, será desde Barcelona hasta la Puerta de Alcalá en Madrid, donde esperamos llegar en los primeros días de agosto.
